This is a combined activity with the Cabarita and Breakfast Point Probus Club. It is held from 2-4pm every Monday in the Admin Building.

Canasta is a variety of Rummy – just a little bit more interesting and trickier. The name Canasta is derived from a Spanish word for basket, as, originally, a basket would have been used to hold the playing cards.
Although many variations exist for two, three, five or six players, it is most commonly played by four in two partnerships with two standard decks of cards.
