Kings Cross had a reputation like nowhere else in Australia and its notorious history is both fascinating and fearsome.  The sensational stories, secrets and scandals of its many years in the spotlight (or, rather, neon light) are ready to be rediscovered and you’re invited on an adventure like no other.

With a local crime historian as our host, we will explore key sights, structures and surrounding suburbs both on foot and on the coach.  We will be introduced to infamous characters such as Dulcie Deamer – The Queen of Bohemia,  Abe Saffron – The Boss of the Cross, Kate Leigh & Tilly Devine – The Queens of the Underworld and Roger Rogerson – The King of Corruption, to name a few.   We will also hear about notorious underworld events such as the Razor Gang Battle of Kellett Street and the influx of American sex, drugs and rock’n’roll.
