Riverboat Postman
Description: Enjoy the magnificent scenery of the lower Hawkesbury River as the mail and other essentials are delivered to the river-access-only settlements upriver from Brooklyn. The first Riverboat Postman
started the run in 1910, and the tradition continues today. Be entertained by the stories of the river whilst cruising in comfort up this spectacular waterway.
Departing Brooklyn Public Wharf (2 min walk to Hawkesbury River Station)

From platform 2 catch the @8.48 T9 Hornsby train to Strathfield, platform 3 arrive @8.50.
From platform 3 at Strathfield, catch the Newcastle train @8.58 to Hawkesbury River @9.47
Carpool to Concord West, train to Strathfield and train to Hawkesbury River
- Concord West train @ 8.29 to Strathfield @ 8.36 meeting others on platform 3.
